I take your point, but even though I survived this one, I'm still interested as to what happened last time?

That wasn't a cull. I had a separate LJ persona so was dividing people up into people under the new one and people who'd known me under the old one. As I hadn't used LJ for months I thought noone would notice anyway... It meant absolutely nothing! ;-)
