I'm thinking of doing the garden today. Don't know what I'm doing, but that makes it all the more fun :-)

Anyone know much about gardening?

Chances are, it will get too hot very soon.

I'm an expert in anti-gardening ie hacking, slaying and destroying. Don't know much about growing things though :)

Well we do need a bit of anti-gardening first.

My housemate's boyfriend has promised to mow the lawn.

My gardening expertise boils down to 'If you want things to live and grow, water them, if you don't care very much then just hope it rains'

I know bits about gardening. Mostly theory, since I never had time to do more than repot house-plants or pull weeds, and I hate mowing lawns.
Have a 4 season plan, so there's colour/life out there year round. What have you got out there already?

uncut grass (no-one ever did mow the lawn), garden chairs. A few herbs growing in window box type trays.

I'd go for 'hope it rains' in the case of chairs, water the window boxes, they might grow into tea-chests
