don't know what to say

Got to CT this afternoon. A little while before we got here we found out that my mom's boyfriend of 10 years died sometime this weekend. I really don't know what to say. I'm trying not to deal with it or get too emotional till my mom leaves. God.

Wow. I'm so sorry. How's your mom? Does she have to drive home by herself now? What happened? I know he's always been in poor health, but was it expected at all?

And no, she didn't drive home, we brought my car up together so she flew home. And thank you for caring, it means a lot. Maybe now that we have a little distance/breathing room between us we can mend our friendship. As much as I bitch, I like having you in my life. You fill a place that no one else does. Sort of the sister my sisters never were. Sorry to be so cheesy, I just finished an entry about Tom.
