Plugged Duct :(
I have a massive plugged duct! It hurts and nothing is coming out when I pump. Emma will nurse, but it doesn't help the hard spot. You can visually see the sopt where it is swollen with milk. I have been doing massage and I am about to jump in the shower for a bit and then Emma is going to come in with me and nurse in there. She loves to nurse ( Read more... ) -

Yogurt making #2 is going on right now. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will have some yummy vanilla yogurt to eat! -
Eli in the last week
Last Thursday we dropped Abby off at gymnastics then decided to stop at Menards to play on the playground they have set up there and I needed to look at some gardening things. Homemade yogurt: 1
Mandy: 0
I had to dump a 1/2 gallon of organic whole milk that I had tried to turn into yogurt, but I curdled it :(
Going to try with non-organic until I figure out how to make it the right way, too expensive to mess up again! -

My garden
We are planting a garden this year. Last year we just had a small bed next to the house that had tomatos and sunflowers. This year we are going all out and building a 16X16 raised garden. I am so excited to have all kinds of fresh produce. We are planning on planting tomatos, spinach, carrots, onions, garlic, potatoes, peppers, and peas. In ( Read more... ) -

Eli is riding his bike without training wheels!
The other day I walked outside and he was putting scotch tape on his bike. I asked him what he was doing, he said "I am making it look really COOL!" Yep, gotta love the cool looking scotch tape:) -

My baby is growing!!!
Miss Emma decided that she wanted to start walking on Friday night. We were watching Where the Wild Things Are and she was taking 1 step inbetween the couch and the chair.
