I love the photo of your, it is very attractive. Okay, I will be honest, you look great, Very pretty.

As far as the scratching post, our Vet had us get a very tall one and she also said "those carpeted ones are backward. You don't want the carpet for them to scratch on, you actually want the rough burlap like carpet backing. We've had problems with the kitten and we got one made/lined with a sisal type of rope and she LOVES it and uses the piss out of it. It is up to my knee, so it is about 2 1/2 foot tall.

I got one there the sisal goes most of the way up, it's just about 32" tall, so now she can get a good stretch and her nails are shedding again. High maintenance cats, I tell ya.
