Spring Fever Observations

Spring is in the air.  The bees have been making their rounds, the birds have been chirping loudly and everything is in bloom.  It's a season of transition, change and rebirth - my favorite time of the year.  Well, almost.  Along with nature's transitions comes the human ones as well.

You're not around LJ much, lately.

Ahh, yes, spring is in the air here in Maryland, too.
Glad to hear that your kid's are doing well. Mine are fine, but driving me crazy, as usual. :p

What is this alone time with hubby, that you speak of?

Thanks! Good to see you too! I've been making an effort lately to stay off the computer as much as possible. I find that I get alot more done around the house ;)

When I find out, I'll be sure to let you know.

It's good to hear that Meg is growing, and it's equally good to hear that you and Rick are talking about things and making an effort rather than just giving up which is what I think too many divorced people do.
You guys are so great for each other, he loves you a lot. Me and Jen were talking about it not too long ago. When we were talking as he was looking at her car, he praised you quite a bit. It's nice to see a guy care so much about his wife. It's not often that you hear a man do that. I have a lot of respect for him, although the trivia thing would drive me crazy. :-P

Yes, you do need to do something. What is the question. The thing is though, just taking a weekend or what have you, is only temporary. It lasts the weekend and maybe a few days into it. You need to find a way to reconnect on a more regular basis.

I'm sure you two will find a way to do that though, you love each other so much and it is always evident...even when things are frustrating!

I so understand where you're at. I like your idea of sending the kids off somewhere... Don't forget to disconnect the phone... ;)
