Adventures in plastic and non sticky glue
Originally i was going to make this out of craft foam but then thought it may be too floppy, decided to go with acetal instead, a little bendy, mostly stiff and a nice smooth surface to spray paint. Little did I know....

Painted pieces, after another look at the references I realised there were 4 pieces a finger not 3. The ridges were added using a hot glue gun.
and done turned out fairly well at this point

Pieces falling off, Paint cracked and flaking , not so cool now :(
So! going to try 3D printing next... if I can get the file saved as the right type
