I spent the day at the hospital today.  I had an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to find out how my recovery would go.  I almost didn't make it in to see him, though.  The staff at the Emergency Room forgot to give me a referral letter on Christmas Day, so technically he wasn't able to see me.  Thankfully they straightened out that mess and

so no surgery? yay- right?

I'd be very surprised if I still needed surgery. I think that he'd be wanting to operate right now instead of waiting three weeks for the cast to come off.

I just need to figure out how to cope with the cast until the 29th.
