I need a mouse weapon of mass destruction. I intend on showing them no mercy, if I can work up the courage to be in the same room as one.

Unfortuanatly the sonar mouse things don't work too well, and you're supposed to turn them off when humans are around or your cells will mutate or something.

We look after two very old (think 1730) houses in Ireland in the winter, and do a daily mouse patrol on the uninhabited house. Traps work for us. The old fashioned springy traps. Poison works very well, but they have an unfortuanate tendancy to crawl off and die in the hot press in the clean linen and then they stink.

Good luck!

Hmm... mutated cells, eh? Might be worth the risk so I don't end up with mice in my bed.

The Camp Director is going to bring me some poison that dries them out so they don't smell when they die. Apparently they just crumble away as they decompose, scent-free.

I'm absolutely terrified of mice. I don't even think I could even handle a dead mouse body in a trap. I'm going to need to grow some coconuts if I'm going to survive the winter here.

It's always the change of season that they come in here. And if you get the smell free poison maybe you could tell me what it is. Could be handy.

*hands amanda some coconuts*

Apparently the poison is called Warfarin. It's also used as a blood thinner in humans. I think I'd be a little apprehensive about having a rat poison administered to me while I'm having some kind of cardiac crisis.

Here is a wikipedia link...what wikipedia doesn't know...

They tell me that you can get it at hardware/home improvement stores or Walmart.

Still no sign of my vermin. The traps are still baited and there's no poop on the counters. Maybe they're anti social mice. When Amanda's away, the mice will play, but as soon as I come home, they're out. I wish.

Thanks for the coconuts.
