Hurricane Ike turned out to be a nasty storm. At least in Houston.. certainly not here. ive been in austin since thursday. im not going back until we have power. which apparently might take a month because we have above ground electricity. fortunately the house didnt get touched. 3 trees uprooted and all 3 managed to within feet of the house. scary
