So, I'm looking for a group of movies I should watch to help me play Chantecleer. Basically, Any movie with personification of Chickens (i.e. where a chicken is an actual walking talking humanized character

Check out Leos Janacek's opera, The Cunning Little Vixen. It's available on videotape in a NYC Opera production (in English). Act II takes place in a henhouse barnyard with chickens and a rooster. It was taped live on stage at NYCO and it could give you lots of ideas.

I have an off-air tape of it, but it's Betamax. I would gladly have you stop by and watch it, but I can't lend it out unless you have access to a Beta cassette player.

BTW--don't forget all those Foghorn-Leghorn WB cartoons!

Um... was there a movie adaptation of Animal Farm? And, was there a chicken in Animal Farm? (Like I've ever read it...)
