:D It was a lot of fun. Behind the cut I've got the tracks, a lyrical sample, somewhere where you can stream the audio, and my justification for putting the track on the mix. There are spoilers for everything behind the cut.
Gah, so sorry it took this long to get to it; I wanted to do it at a time when I knew I could listen to everything uninterrupted. X3
Oooh, Carry On Wayward Son is a theme song for the show in canon? I love that song! X3 So awesome.
And having Welcome to the Black Parade on there is just amazing! ♥ I can see it fitting Dean so easily. And I love the imagery the opening parts invoke.
Always awesome to see Hallelujah and Latter Days, too! X3 And Which to Bury.
Oh wow, what happened in the scene from the Heaven and Hell episode? ;__;
Of the songs I haven't heard before, Cheaper Than Therapy is really amazing. o.o The whole melody and flow of the song made it really easy for me to picture it being in Supernatural.
And picking that Pat Benetar song for Ruby makes me suddenly more interested in knowing about Ruby's character. XDSpeaking of Which to Bury, oooh, you're definitely right about how it seems to flow into the other song! *__* I love it! Let It All Out is like them after they've calmed down and are trying to pick up the pieces

Yeah, one of Dean's biggest things is that he listens to classic rock all the time. There was this hilarious/adorable bit in the season 4 premiere when they go out to the Impala and Dean's all excited about his car, and then he sees Sam's iPod plugged in and he's like, "You put an iPod in my car!?" And Sam's reply was something like, "Well I didn't really think you were coming back!"
UM THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF "HEAVEN AND HELL". Why would they ever think it is okay to end an episode like this, my gosh! ;_________; And then Sam's in the background doing that thing with the bridge of his nose that he does when he's trying not to cry, and asdfsdf;kj;lj sorry, but I haven't yet had a proper spaz about how sad that scene made me! .___

LOL.
Ohmygosh! ;___; That scene is absolutely heart-shattering and squeezing and everything else. And the emotions ... ! They're both such amazing actors. And Alistair ... that isn't Alistair Crowley, is it? XD;
Bleh. XD; Yeah, Ruby sounds like she blows hot and cold. My guess is that watching her in action, I might want to punch her sometimes? XD;
Poor Sam! ;___;
**hopefully will tinker with it soon.** o.o I have this image of Seph standing there after Genesis departs, and he finally says to the darkness, "What about your dead, Genesis? What about the people you've killed? What about your parents?"
And I really thought I'd heard All These Things I've Done before, but when I heard it, it didn't sound familiar. XD; (Even though I do know I've read the lyrics.) Oooh, it's such a perfect song to end the mix on!

I KNOOOOW on all counts. ;____; Yeah, they're so much better as actors now than they were in season 1, haha. Nope, Alistair's just a big bad demon; Sam can't exorcise him and Ruby's special demon-killing knife doesn't hurt him. He just showed up and caused some trouble for a couple episodes and ran around saying things like "You had so much potential!" to Dean. >.> He seems to have been killed/sent back to Hell, but the scene was pretty ambiguous. ....He'd make a superb villain in a h/c story oh shi - *plunnie'd XD*
Yeah... I certainly want to punch her sometimes. XD Granted, there've been some moments where I was like "oh yay Ruby!" There was this funny bit where Dean was sorta struggling to thank her for helping Sam when Dean was dead, and Ruby was just like, "You're welcome. Are you done yet? This is getting awkward." and Dean's just like, "....Yeah." and it made me giggle. XP
