They're really revoke your car licence for six month??? I once skipped a red traffic light and bumped into another car, and the other woman broke a leg. The police officers came to help us fill in the paperwork, and after doing me the alchol test and be sure I was clean, the insurance took care of everything. In your country I'd have been sent to jail forever!

I didn't check to make sure there was no car coming up behind me when I switched lanes. You do get your license revoked for that here, though I think running a red light just costs you money.

Damn the rules in your country. I'm glad the man was so cool, though, somebody else would have asked you to go to police department. Every now and then people can even surprise you.
