I have to wake up in four hours so don't expect any insight from me. Yes, I liked tonight's LOST. As an objective viewer, I liked it as a kind of filler-ish, set up episode for some storylines, even though I feel it was messy in parts and Harper annoyed the hell out of me with both stupid corny lines and an awful delivery.

But screw the objective

I had to stay awake waiting for the caps cause I wanted to see my newfound ship, Jack/Happiness (TM Rosa) and enjoy it however briefly.

Yeah, right before he dies. They're very few and far in between and I cherish them the way he cherishes people who really love and care for him.

Yes, I predict a look of exquisite peace and at-long-last-joy on his face as the life leaves his mangled body in the waning minutes of the show's finale. That's probably the "bittersweet" part TPTB are talking about. I'm also open to a non-contrived "and he lived happily ever after" scenario if they can manage it, but I'm not holding my breath.
