Our San Diego beaches are closed because a great white munched on a triathlonist the other day (true story, I swear... Solana beach, which is like... two exits from where I live) so I went astrolling on the beach in Santa Monica instead and walked on the pier at sunset.

I can now cross a couple more items off the Things To Do Before I Die List:

Oh sounds like you are having such a good time. Mmm, I love California...it's so sunny and chilled out compared to London, and the people are much, much friendlier. Most of my best friends live there, so I would definitely consider moving one day.

And wait...did I read that wrong or did you just say you'd been to the Speed Racer premiere?

Cali is v. pretty, but I won't cry over leaving it (in just two short months) because my job and my experiences here have been pretty depressing for the most part. Eh, luck of the draw. I'm trying to see more before I go because it's trully gorgeous.

I just have a basic reply box and don't even see the italics section let alone an attach picture button. LJ is just too complex for my computer-illiterate brain.

lol. I didn't exactly advertize my stalking this time, but yes, I was right across the street from his luscious ass... which was my focal point the whole time he was leaning over to talk to midget (ie, normal-sized) people.

I spent the day doing touristy stuff in LA but I'd known about the premiere in a while so I knew when to be there and where to go.
