I'm not unaware of the fact that I sound American so if it's language they're looking for, I'd be hired, but I seriously didn't expect to not want to turn away the job because of... geographical issues. But nope. I start on Monday, right here in the city.

And I'll be around construction sites and engineers for 2+ years (if everything works out fine). I laughed my ASS off when I finally realized it all started with the PA Turnpike in Harrisburg. Whoa. Life is weird.

Yay, congratulations on the job! Good for you that you got one in the field you wanted to work in. But I'm curious, what town is it you are talking about? Sorry if you mentioned it and I missed it. You've traveled so much, I can't keep up!!!

Lol. Yeah, I'm back in Romania now. I was going to go to gradschool in the big city and was only going to spend the summer in this ugly town (I just went to high school here... what can I say... I traveled when I was little too :D) and then I was jetlagged one Saturday and decided to pass the time browsing the classifieds and now here I am. This was literally 36 hours after I landed back in the country.

Thank you. :) My favorite thing about it, other than speaking English all day and being the heck away from my family, is that it's only for two years and then I'll be free to do something else. So even if I hate it, I won't feel stuck there.
