I practically grew up in New York City....I was there almost daily as a child and I loved taking trips with school friends as a teen...just a 45 minute train ride. Its like my second home.

Mine too, I think. I love my hometown, and I'm not quite as fearless as you, but there is nowhere else on earth like NYC.

*sigh* Yesterday was a hard day. It always hits me.

Put that property back to work with office buildings, and let those ghostly lights be the permanent memorial.

I was in NYC once. For 5 hours. Got a hell of a lot of sightseeing done in that time. Saw the WTC, too, and I'm glad I have that memory.
