I decided I'll go ahead and watch season 3 of Dexter, even without seeing a single episode of 2 so I guess... whoa! Major spoilage there when they had five minutes of "Previous season on Dexter" in 3x01.

The show still entertains me very much, but it does have the same problem I thought it'd have. How many freakin' serial killers are there in Miami ( Read more... )

Heh, the single thing that bothered me about Lost at the begining and put me off the show was that so many people survived the plane crash. And 80% of them young and beautiful. I know it's tv world but it was really hard for me to go past.

Hehehehehe. Yeah, but this is slightly less obvious than the serial killer thing. It DOES however cause severe disappointment for all of us whenever we go to the hospital and for SOME of us because we can't find another man as gorgeous as him. ;)

I think he might be what pushes Lost into the "fantasy" genre. ;)

Tolkien would be so proud of us. ;) Speaking of... It's SO frustrating to get an idea and know clearly what you want and not find the words for it. *sigh*

LOL.

Do you mean the "other" serial killer in season two that you saw from the recap? That wasn't about another one, it WAS about Dexter. They found all the bodies he dumped in the ocean.

Oh, I figured that one out but it seemed to me like the crazy girlfriend had turned into a serial killer herself, I thought she was some sort of serial arsonist. THEN this episode ended with that guy who already killed two girls killing a third one with a very ritualistic token of skin taken from her so I just figured he's yet another serial killer.

And yes, I AM watching FNL but I have no clue when it comes back. I'll go click now.

There's only been two serial killers on the show so far. Dexter and his brother. The one the police was searching for in season two was Dexter himself, but they never caught him (obviously) and there's no trace of another serial killer in season three so far.

Well, the episode ended with that guy killing his third blonde female victim with a very ritualistic... token of skin taken from her so... it seems like they're headed that way.

I don't know what it was but after season one, I didn't have any desire to continue watching Dexter. And of course since I didn't watch season two, that desire is even lessened cause I'm so removed from it. But the funny part is, I actually liked season one. So I'm not sure what my deal is, lol.

I get that sometimes. This was still fun for me, it hasn't exactly lost my attention compared to season one so I guess I'll watch the rest and see how it goes.
