Is there a word for "the melancholy that affects you when all you yearn to do today is read/watch the sequel to the book/movie you are currently in love with, but it hasn't been written yet"? The Germans have to have a word for it 'cos they've got a word for everything.

Oh--there's a humor in English language-speakers looking at the subtle emotions that actually have a specific word in German, to the degree that we adopt some of them (weltschmerz, schadenfraude, etc.) and joke that German's got a word for everything we can't put a name to. ^_^

Ha! I love you. (Actually it's authors and books right now, but, damn, some insta-MCU would help too.)
