F.O.M.O.O.I.C? :D

(or maybe how about Foomoo?) BTW, hi! The trailer to Anomalisa did seem kind of insufferable, so I'm curious what you thought of it in the end.

Oh, erg, I was told, "Anomalisa is life-changing and amazing; the best way to experience it is to go in knowing nothing about it," and...god, I was bored. It's essentially the story of a mid-life crisis of a character who's not sympathetic. I won't say anything more in case you want to see for yourself, but...some of things I thought were just dull style limitations turned out to be intentional in a way I missed. I suppose if you were intrigued by those you might have thought differently.

I like your definition better. I'm having a hard time seeing someone describe themself by that definition, though I could see the people who think they're just that cool using it as the latest iteration of "you hate me because you're jealous".

Apparently people who look at others' selfies and such get all moody because those people look like they're having such a good time? Eh. I don't spend time on sites where there are hordes of selfies, so. (I'm still into "The internet is a place to be anonymous!")

Huh, I guess I was misinterpreting too...I thought FOMO could apply to just about anything, Internet or otherwise!

Maybe the definition expanded? Well, I feel better to know others interpret it the same way!
