Tonight was a horrible night. Tira, my dog, got loose and ran into the highway where she was hit by a woodtruck. We tried to save her but there was nothing we could do. The vet gave her some pain medicine so she wouldn't suffer and dad stayed up with her until the end. I couldn't stay at the vet's because I couldn't stand to hear her crying anymore
