a few minor details: "O Sensei" (Morihei Ueshiba) was the founder of Aikido, the art. not our dojo. he is our, literally translated, "Great Teacher". ;) read the first few pages of the manual Naomi gave us. :P Also, testing is not every 3 months. some ranks require six months to pass before you can test, ect. thats why it takes at least five years to get through the 6 ranks to make it to black belt. and i was unaware that a sempai could bow you in; its supposed to only be when the sensei recognizes you? or that kills the structure of the class... idk i could be wrong but thats what i remember from class. maybe its only that way with the really strict senseis. thats the same with talking on the mat. i know john murray sensei likes silence, and a lot of the hardcore traditional senseis like silence, but i know gary sensei and mike sensei dont mind the talking. and when you say "the Sensei will call up an older student to help them..." perhaps "more experienced student" might be better than "older"... just because there are ( ... )

lol, thank you for the pointers. I'll try to edit it later. And yes, a sempai can bow you in. At least, in our dojo class they can.
