Okay, our office is f!cking cold—and I don't usually complain about any temperature under 80°. (Which is what the temperature in here was most of the summer.) Sometimes my high school seemed like they had the heat on in the summer, and the air conditioning on at the winter. We suspected a conspiracy. Basically, they had the heat on when it was cheapest: in the summer... and vice versa because they totalled up use of the heating and cooling at the end of the year, and on the books it'd look like they were doing a good job. No one had any proof. But who needs proof? =X

The thermostat here is in a secluded corner that's shielded from all the windows and drafts - so it never gets hit by blazing sunlight or freezing air, and it's cooler in the summer/warmer in the winter than anywhere else in the office. If it weren't so solidly built into the wall, I'd try to break in in the middle of the night and move it up near the front door so it would have the real temperature on it :-P
