I just got back from Dallas. It feels really strange. After these few days I'm really dreading going back to real life. Belle and Sebastian was amazing and I will always be really glad I got to see them. This trip kinda makes me wonder if I know what the hell I'm doing though. It makes me wish I could change my life kinda drastically.

I don't know exactly. I mean I don't know how I would change it, but I think pretty much every aspect of my life needs changing somehow. School has me so busy it is depressing. I need a job. lack of time and money is pretty much making romantic involvement impossible, and leisure time with my friends is pretty damn scarce. When I do have free time I'm sick of not even knowing what to do with it, and sitting in my room alone at the computer...

I wanted to go to that show soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad, but I was in a state that is not Texas. :-(

The show was fantastic. I'd never hear the new pronographers before, but I will have to check them out now, and of course belle & sebastian were too good for words. It was really great to see the people who make that music. Stuart Murdoch seems like he'd be a pretty cool guy if you ever got to meet him in real life. really they all seemed cool. I wish I'd had a chance to see them before, but this was still one of the best shows I've ever been to. They played a really good mix of new stuff and old stuff. I wasn't so excited about the new stuff, but hearing it live really changed my opinion.

I think I wanna try to go to more shows now. I'd love to see broken social scene or iron and wine...

You have heard of the New Pornographers, and you said the same thing about never having heard of them then, too. I have a coupla' CDs if you'd like to borrow them.

dude, i officially hate you!! i didnt realize new pornographers was opening for belle and sebastian!! meh!!! i havent heard much of belle and sebastian, but i *heart* new pornographers!!! grrrr!!!

If you haven't heard much Belle and Sebastian I highly recommend them! I have lots of their stuff if you would care to hear any of it. I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with the new pornographers, sorry you didn't get to see them.

Sorry I didn't advertise this. I would have loved to bring along all who wanted to go, but I just happened to get lucky on this one, and a friend offered me a ticket after the show was already sold out.
