I hate fall. The first cold day always seems to come suddenly. It's never too cold, but the drop in temperature always chills my blood uncomfortably after so many hot summer days, and reminds me that winter will be here before too long. I hate winter. No, I don't really hate winter. I just hate being cold. It happens to me far to easily. Sometimes ( Read more... )

It seems like the cold came a few weeks early this year.

And I always feel icky on the first fall day, as well as the first spring day. The temperature shift always make me feel really... wrong. Lol.

The only good thing about winter is warm beverages.

Its funny cause I actually enjoy snow a lot, and I don't mind being outside in the cold a little bit, but I hate hate hate always having chilly fingers and feet in when I'm indoors in the winter.

Well, if we beef up your Argyle sock collection, that should help with the foot problem.

When *my* hands are cold in the winter, I will often find an excuse to use the oven and/or wrap my hands around a mug of tea. Maybe you could do the same. Apple crisp, for the win? ;)

having lived in a desesrt where it gets cold at night... you get real real sick of it being hot and sunny ALL THE FUCKING TIME. it took a few years of living in az to make me realize how much i loved bundeling up and eating soup for a few months... it kind of lets you hibernate... natural rythems sort of thing.
eat some acorn squash. harevesting it got me in a autumnal mood.

I sort of know what you're saying without really feeling quite the same. It is always nice to rest in a cool place where you can bundle up. It's sort of womb like, but in the end the trade of just isn't worth it to me. Keeping warm in winter always feels like a struggle to me, but summer is just a time to move softly and stay in the shade. Acorn squash sounds very nice though.

I'd like to say for the record that if you were fat, you would feel the exact opposite way. I was thinking earlier today how I used to hate it when the summer was over, but it was mainly because it meant I had to return to high school, and how now, I'm so, so eager for the summer to be over.

I am definitely short on winter insulation.
