I want to get a new phone. Mine has been out of contract for some time, and I am thinking about getting something nice that I can use for more than just making phone calls. An Iphone would be wonderful, but at this point the cost of the data plan still puts me off. I would like to have some kind of data plan however. Does anyone have a

I don't know about the other phones, but the iPhone has a decent camera, an easy-to-use road map and directions function, tons of sweet free "apps" to download (my favorite is the one that listens to a song for 20 seconds and tells you what it is -- also the one I use to look up guitar chords), weather, notepads, cut and paste for text, scientific calculator, etc. Plus, it's an iPod.
