Stunning work of post-post modernist minimalism sir. The injection of earnest sincerity into what would otherwise be taken as an ironic statement about content and its importance transforms the entire piece into something approaching a kind of scornful ruse, an intellectual game of cat and mouse in which the viewer is invariably the mouse. The honesty of the piece is what makes it work, by refusing to hide the lack of content, the artist here highlights the form itself, and perhaps says something significant about how we, as consumers of communications technology, interact with the very technology laid bare before us.

Yep. Still got it. I could still knock out an art theory paper if I had to.
