Heroes? I haven't heard of that anime. I wonder if its better then Getbackers.

In response to your Death Note post below. I'm not sure if you were a fan of Death Note (I liked the Manga), but the anime version isn't as good (still interesting though), but like all anime, once it comes to America; I think it will be butchered by the dubbed and localization team.

Oh, I'm the creepy guy that posted on your myspace account. I didn't realize livejournal was your main "blog". It is mine also.

Also I like J-pop, but I guess nothing like you. I rip intros and Outros to certain anime and play them in my car. I only have like one or two songs that are actual full length Japense songs and they are awesome. But I only have them because of the Anime Music Videos I watch and found them particularly sweet.

PS: Do you also imagine Anime in your head when you listen to music?

*lol* Heroes isn't an anime. It's a show on NBC. If your a fan of manga or comics (I don't know, you just seem like the type to like that kind of stuff ^^), I recommend it.

I was a huuuuge fan of Death Note a few years ago when it was first being scanlated. I was an even bigger fan of Hikaru no go and obata takeshi, which is why I read Death Note in the first place. I also bought the art book, Blanc et Noir at a convention a while ago.

And as a general rule, I don't watch anime on tv unless it's subtitled. I'm a purist, what can I say? I downloaded the first couple episodes, but I haven't watched them yet. They're just kinda there. I've lost my 'anime geek' for the time being.
Although, I do read Naruto every week (but shhh. Don't tell any 12 year old girls you see walking around with a leaf village headband on.)

4 months later I respond!

Although I haven't really been able to watch new Japanese anime recently cause of dial-up being the only means to connect to the internet where I live, I do have lots of anime from before, that I have burned to disc that I watch again like once every year or so.

Maye it is because of Fansubs, but I prefer watching all anime with subtitles, and the few times I might watch anime that my friend might have bought at a store, I always switch to Japanese language and read the English subtitles, however a part of me can't help but believe that Fansub translation is more accurate to the meaning of some of the words.
