I have one cat that has two boxes now, since she decided last year that the corner of my hallway was better than her litter box. It took me forever to find it, so that part of the carpet is ruined. Now she has a litter box in that corner, along with her regular one. She uses both. The craziest thing is when she starts a poop in one box and moves to the other box to finish it.

I can't explain cats either.
