The Constitution of the United States Amendment 14 Section 1 says:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

Obama was born in Hawaii, therefore he's a natural born citizen. Oh, and BTW, he won fair and square, GET OVER

That's nice. But that's not the amendment or article of the Constitution that sets the requisites for holding the office of the Presidency.

No shit Sherlock. That amendment says who is considered a citizen. The argument is whether Obama is a citizen, not what the requirements for president are.

Well of course he's a citizen, no one is questioning that. The question is based around whether he meets the requirements needed to be President.

Actually, there is no question at all. As the article Sabot cited states, Obama was born in the United States and therefor is a natural-born citizen. This is why a number of people are up in arms with illegal immigration. Children born on US soil to immigrants (illegal or otherwise) are American and have all the rights, duties, and obligations as such.

I see my post struck a nerve with you. Cool. Yeah, I wish people would stop trying to nit-pick this crap. He was born in Hawaii after it was declared a state. His mom was an American citizen who wanted him to be an American. Game over, man. Game over!
