[Sims Stuff & Real Life] More Computer Stories and New Challenge
I finally got my game AND my computer to work. I know now that it's my computer that has something wrong with it, because today while using it the strangest sounds started to come out of my tower. O_O It was like an airplane revving up. Then my computer just turned off on me again. I still don't know what caused it and I won't know until Kid comes home, but the airplane sounds I've heard before when I first start the computer for the day (just never so loud as today)... Since that's usually the time that I've noticed it, I think I'll leave it running forever.
On the Sims front; I think I finally got the custom hoods working again. I thought I kept getting it wrong because when I would open my character folder after running the game, there would be files there! But then I went in with SimPE and found out that those characters where from AL and since we don't have a clean template (That I know of) I'll live with them. Plus they're new to me.
Also, I've made a new founder for my renewal of ISBI: The Hines. Her name is Regina Villareal and she's named after one of my favorites childhood Spanish soaps! LOL. Yes, a soap. "La Dueña is a Mexican soap and has the main character, Regina, left at the alter by her two-timing, gold-digging fiance Mauricio, and runs away to her hacienda, Las Cascabeles, to heal her wounds. But she's very angry, bitter, and unhappy, and it's not long before everyone at Las Cascabeles, and in town is afraid of her. Except for her very handsome and strong-willed neighbor, Jose Maria Cortez, who suspects she's hiding real heartache and falls in love with her despite her very prickly exterior."
What I like best about Spanish soaps is that unlike American soaps that can go on and on and on forever, Spanish soaps eventually end. This soap is also a little special to me because it carries with it good memories of watching it in Dominican Republic with my Abuela and family. Plus I think I had a girl AND boy crush on both the main characters. :P If I didn't know that the discs where so badly edited that large chunks of the story was missing, I'd buy these things for myself.
So any who... that took a long detour into memory road. The point was, that my Regina is going to be my new founder for the ISBI which I'm also thinking of making into a mini-legacy because I don't know how long my computer is going to last.
