English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Catalan, Mandarin, and Welsh? I think that's it. I had to think about it for a while though. Once you know it in one Romance language you kind of know it in all of them. Oh, and German, except my German pronunciation sucks. I know it in Latin too but I don't think that counts since nobody alive speaks it conversationally.

Catalan! I can't remember where that's spoken... Barcelona?

I was also waiting for someone to say Portuguese. Dunno why.

Catalan and Portuguese are almost the same as Spanish, at least for that! It's Com esta in Catalan and Como esta in Portuguese.

And yes, Catalan is spoken in Barcelona! It's also spoken in parts of France and Italy and in Andorra. I have an LJ friend who has been studying Catalan, which is the only reason I know anything about it!

I need to learn it in Korean! How is it pronounced?

Well, these letters: 어 and 으 aren't really used, or separate, in English. 어 sounds kind of like the "ow" in "cow". Except, instead of pronouncing it as "ow", pronounce it as "ohw". Sort of like the "aw" in "lawn".

So 어떻게 지내세요 is pronounced as

"Ohw- dohw-geh" (게 is pronounced as GEH instead of KEH because there is a ㅎ at the end of the last syllable) "jee-neh-seh-yoh".

Or you can just listen to it here: http://www.langintro.com/kintro/bphrases/greet.htm
