What is your shrining style? Which of your shrines best exemplifies your style?When I say "Shrining Style", I have a few key words that come to mind: informational, analytical, humorous, and even emotional. I guess my shrines have a fair amount of information, Golden Phoenix (which still needs to be revamped XD) has around 10k words, Surreptitious about 15k and the minor character shrine for the marathon has about 8k, it's the smallest since it's a very minor character. I like to add some humor to my shrines because that makes them feel more fun and entertaining.

I like visiting shrines that are original, shrines that have sections and views that don't feel like a cookie cutter model of a stereotypical shrine. They feel more personal and interesting that way. Amusing humorous sections are a big plus too.

I tend to go with a mixture of information and analytical... I don't really try to be comedic or humorous, but that sneaks in sometimes without my trying. I mainly just try to be true to myself, and write as if I'm speaking to a friend or acquaintance about something I really love.

The shrines of mine that I feel most clearly depict my shrining "style" would be Somewhere Only We Know and Ripples. Just tons of passion for the subjects I shrined, and good old fashioned analysis. I hope all of my sites fit my style, though. I just really love writing.

Instead of naming shrines, I'll name some shrine makers... Some webmasters I think shrine most like I do would be Shiori and Karen -- they share my love for essays, writing, and personality in writing. There are lots of others whose works mine share similarities with though (Destinie, Chrissy, Lorelei, etc), and although I think our styles are similar, they're different too, as every webmaster puts his or her own spin on their websites.
