Interesting topic. I never really have given any thought on it. If you are wondering, I was circumcised when I was born so I have no idea how my life would be different if I wasn't.

I don't think many people are given the choice. I have heard from numerous sources that uncirced males are prone to infections and have personal hygiene issues.

Then, I am glad that I was circumcised^.^ I don't want any important part of my body to be infected.

In Islam and Judaism it is required upon birth/infancy. The procedure is incredibly painful, but the boy will be fine if it was done by someone with experience

Oh no go right ahead. I have heard horror stories about female circumcision but never actually knew anyone that would know from more personal experience with it.

Yeah I agree w/ you. Some tribes in Africa practice it and it's just very terrible. I do not believe it should be mandatory. I think the fact that it is not mentioned in Islam says something.

(And besides I have a grandma that is just as bad, if not worse.)

I think it's just a waste of time :( It doesn't make any sense. Women are oppressed enough in many countries, so removing their ability to feel any pleasure is even more oppression.

And I also heard that some men just complain that the clitoris "feels like a small penis." Well anatomically, it somewhat is a small penis, but it should be barely noticeable. And the excuse is just RETARDED. OH MY GOD. That is like me saying "Oh my boobs feel like rocks. I'll just cut them off!" What the hell kind of conclusion is that? XD (sorry if that was TMI).

Men have it far more easier. It's just foreskin, but with many unfortunate women, it's far more horrible :( And that is 96% of Egyptian women!

I just asked my mom a few min ago about it and she says "It's horrible. It should not exist." And then she says "It's culture." I REALLY hate it when Muslims mix in CULTURE with Religion, they do not mix.

Yeah I agree. I am not sure why they can't leave it like nature intended. it's like 'fyi it IS like a small penis because it's biologically similar!'

I agree with Male Circumcision, but not with Female Genital Mutilation. I don't get in too much detail about this topic, but that's about it. :D

But if I was circumcised, I'd probably have psychological problems.

I've read about the advantages of male circumcision. It seems very true to me. I'm guessing you are circumcised because around certain Asian countries they do that procedure.
