Hello. I'd like to ask you what do you think about my icons. I've chosen some of my favorite ones. I won some awards, but I'm not sure if people like my graphics...

I used Photoshop 7.0

I think that overall, they are quite good, especially the first four.
The last three, however, look a bit over loaded to me. Chaotic, somehow. (Especially the sixth). I think they are a bit too bright - if that's the right word.
And the fifth icon... Well. I think the green and the purple don't go well together as they are.
I like your texts, and think they are well placed in each of them.
The third icon is very mellow.
I hope this didn't sound too harsh or anything. I'm not all too good at critiquing.

I've never done this before, so let's see... I'll tell you what stands out to me most/

I think 7 and 8 are my favorites, the color schemes are very nice as well as the crops and font choices.

I Think 4 would be better if the dots (tiny text?) came in all the way to the text rather then stopping suddenly.

The color schemes on 2 and 3 are also well done.

6 & 7 are my favourites.
I like you should try different techniques, maybe?
Try and emphasize the acutal picture and its colours.
Selective colouring maybe?
