Kind of terrified that I semi-encountered a coyote on a walk yesterday morning while out with my baby.
A say "semi-encountered" because I saw it from a partial distance (it was up the street and distracted by a man out walking his dog).

When my grandmother was a young teen in rural Romania, her mother became very ill. My grandmother cared for her mother until her death. I thought my baby needed a protein for each meal (of three meals a day), but this other document is saying one serving per day. Damn, that takes the pressure off O_O and no wonder he doesn't eat everything because I'm literally throwing food at him all day long.

Tentative plans to have dinner with in-laws. Baby wakes at 5:30 am and needs naps earlier than usual; I attempt the third nap, but baby rejects it, which is developmentally typical (significant teething is also to blame), so to compensate the lost sleep, we do an early bedtime, which means the original plans have to be cancelled/altered.

The doctor wants to induce me this Friday; I'm trying to feel okay with it, but it's a struggle because I really had a "natural birth" in mind. Saw a headline related to university students wanting to pay less tuition for taking online classes for the next term.
I guess they expect their hardworking professors, support staff, and graduate students (in some cases) to take a pay cut even though these individuals will possibly be doing even more work than usual to manage and port face-to-face ( Read more... )
