Hmm... perhaps I'll have to draw you more fanart. That's a known cure for WB.
I've been eaten by the nasty demon known as Master's Thesis. I am trying very hard to get my writing groove back and I've managed some unconnected bits of My Little Pony fic. It's supposed to rain all weekend and I don't start work until Thursday, so hopefully I'll be able to get something done too!
"Say, ironychan, you told me to expect Chapter Two in a couple of days, and that was a couple of days ago."
"Yeah, sorry about that, I got caught up in random Climactic Battle fragments and giggling to myself as Tokeem tries to tell Teal'c that the trees are angry. I'll get to it on the weekend."
I want you to know that I am now writing romantic subplots between minor characters. I'm pretty sure this is your bad influence. Allow me to present one of the schmoopiest things I have ever written:
---
"What is so funny?" asked Vrrta'tey, as she broke her connexion with the tree.
"My grandfather," Fkiyoni said with a grin. "I asked him what he thought - all this time, and I still ran off with the boy from the Yamanu'tska!"
"And what did he say?"
Her grin grew even wider. "He said that if the boy from the Yamanu'tska was willing to wait forty years for me, then you deserve me after all."
I suppose you could blame me, but if you do, then you'll have to blame David and Leigh Eddings by extension, since I'm pretty sure that's where my own tendencies came from...

blech, theses...evilness. Good luck on the writing! Today it's sunny here and I'm planting, not writing, but planting is also important...

Besides, Mom is home this week and we're running around like chickens with certain vital brainpans missing, so... She leaves again on Sat.
