[Ep Review] SPN: Play Things ~not creepy at all~
since it was on today...my thoughts on tonight's ep...play things is a great ep. but then i suppose i think all eps are great...
theres the obvious stuff like how they're 'mistaken' for a gay couple again. poor dean. he's not good at hiding it is he. aah well. the girl knew anyways. and so gave them a room with two beds...one of which nobody who wanted to be able to move the next day would use...which dean discovered quick enough ^-^
and then theres the infamous drunk sammy presenting his ass to dean scene. gotta love that scene. with the drunk and the touching and the dean being a good boy and not ass raping his brother while he's too out of it to get off on it...heh...'distracted' indeed...
oh and then the pretty bar...really pretty colours...i keep expecting a ball to suddenly come rolling down a hallway somewhere too...
but then after he calmed hisself down at the bar...when he went back n sat next to unconscious sam in the one bed that wont kill your back and angsted at him...his face all frowny...hand in sam's sweaty hair...n then when sam turned over in his sleep and nuzzled into dean's leg...*sniffle*...then the unconscious sam mumbling into deanleg...dean touching sam's cast n looking like he blames himself for even that...*sniffle*
and then the thing that made the ep all kinds os freaky...that 4400 girl...she's freaks me out....he's freaky...scary...*shudders*...but lets not think about her...and get back to the hot that is dean being all big brother-ey n letting sam get in as much saving of damsels in distress as possible. oh dean. you make such a good big brother. *sniffles more*
but then theres the 'lets get inside the haunted house'...with the freaky 4400 girl...*hides from her*...then the freaky dolls...of the devil...dolls are of the devil and should be burned with much salt and pepper...but the doll room will forever remind me of sam n dean looking in closets for the little girl...because you know..smart...is it subconscious symbolism for 'coming out of the closet'?
and then aww...sammy gets to save the girl and get went in the process...because dean knows that sam needs to let sam save some lives...and also...dean wouldnt wanna do that cpr crap on a prepubescent girl...wot with the ick..and the associating with the freaky 4400 girl...*shudders*...but also...another pair of siblings with more love than most siblings have for each other...
its a recurring theme in this show...theres of course sam n dean...then theres andy n psychopath guy...and then theres freaky 4400 girl and old lady...definitely a recurring theme
oh sam...all wet...dean had to get him warm all quick n stuff so he wouldnt get sick. and so kind lady gave them their 'two singles' room back...heh...you can tell she's thinking of turning her hotel into a brothel instead of just selling it now...if she can attract enough 'antiquers' n such i'm sure she could lock some in their rooms to practice for the clientelle of the future...'youve given me everything' indeed...like ideas for the renovation of the hotel to include an interesting basement...n such...
oh dean...he keeps angsting over his relationship with his brother...n you'd think that'd be bad enough..but then they make sam remember that promise...but then again..maybe he's just getting revenge on dean for not sexing him up when he was all presenting to him n such...but then again...sam is a giant floppy haired girl so it makes sense that he'd angst over what their dad *cough*bastard*cough* said to dean...and completely forget the good bit about the 'saving' n such...*sigh*
but yeah...overall...a good ep methinks...it had the scary (4400 girl and freaky devil dolls)...it had the angsty (sam the angst queen)...it had the delicious angsty (dean the angst king) and it had the warm fuzzies (drunkonscious n snuggly sam n big brother dean)...and thrown in just for good measure...the shining-ness and the many behind the smexin actors camera angles n the wet hero sam...*sighs in contentment*
