All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up

Michael Phelps has now qualified in eight(!) events. That man is a machine.

I am so mad at DeAnna for picking Jesse. Jason is clearly the better catch. I really liked DeAnna until the finale. I felt for her after Brad did what he did to her two seasons ago, but she made a decision with her crotch instead of her head. And at the "After the Final ( Read more... )

I've tried to comment four times now and I keep getting distracted by the James Franco/James Dean pictures.

lol. It's freakish how similar they are. Franco was really born to play Dean.

No I meant that the matching was scary. Not the choices.

Oh, I see. The funny thing is that I didn't like dig for the photos. All the photos I used were found on either the first or second page of photo returns when I did a Google image search of the actors'/actresses' names.

lol. You're deprived! I'm not much better, there are tons of their movies I haven't seen. I've assemble a list for us of two quintessential films per actor (based on a general consensus of what I’ve read/heard about them). Some I've already seen, the rest I'll add to my Netflix queue. If you don't want to participate you don't have to (obviously!) but the list is a nice buffer of sorts; an introduction into their cornerstone works. It's too long to post in a comment, so I'll post with my entry today! :D And I'm going to add that James Franco film too. Ooh, I should have a marathon of biopics about old Hollywood stars, with the Jonathan Rhys Myers "Elvis" one, that Marilyn Monroe one by Carol Oates (I think that was the director, anyway), "Mommie Dearest," which is about Joan Crawford, and the Shirley Temple one (I remember watching it and it being so sad! Her parents lied to her about her age because they wanted her to be younger because it was better for her film career ( ... )
