Wow a woman who's never seen Annie Hall.
I thought that was a requirement for you guys.

Most of the movies on here are solid, I think there's only like 4 or 5 I haven't seen. But my major complaints are "The Incredibles" which is an awesome movie for sure, but not a comedy. And either of the "Meet the..." movies. For the 100th time, those movies are not funny.

I'm not really a Woody Allen fan. The few films of his I've bothered seeing have gone like this: I liked "Bullets Over Broadway," I was bored to tears by "Celebrity" and turned it off after 30 minutes and I watched "Melinda and Melinda" in its entirety but was unimpressed. And I really am not a Diane Keaton fan. So I'm really not looking forward to seeing his three films on the list :|

I found the "Meet the" movies to be amusing, but definitely not two of the 100 funniest films ever made.

Woddy is hit or miss for me too. I did really like "Match Point" though.

Also the fascination with Napoleon Dynamite has to end as well. The list also needs more "High Fidelity".

I actually just rewatched "High Fidelity." It was the day after I learned Bruce might appear in hia second film. I had to relive the greatness that was his first.

I hope you enjoy The Blues Brothers. It's totally random, but a lot of fun and also highly quotable. I grew up on that film.

I saw Animal House all the way through for the first time recently and was glad I never wasted my time watching more recent slacker college movies because they would all pale in comparison. I mean, they're all ridiculous, but at least Animal House is actually funny. ;-)

I agree with you on Woody Allen. I've never seen Annie Hall, either. His films just never really appealed to me.

I saw it when I was young but have little recollection of it, so a rewatching is definitely called for. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm really embarrassed I have yet to see so many of the films on this list.

I probably saw it when I was a kid, but I don't remember it. I always found him creepy and annoying, so I never wanted to see the movie. And the whole public masturbation thing happened when I was 4 so I always associated him and the character with that punchline.

I love "Shrek"! I love all the inside jokes that totally go over kids' heads. I think if go in it thinking of it as an animated kids film it totally exceeds your expectations. The shock of it translating into somethin adults can enjoy is, I think, what made it an instant classic; however, if you go into it already knowing the hype and expecting a great comedy, period, you'll be disappointed. You know what I mean?

Personally I think it's waaaay too high on the list.

Dude, some of those movies SOO do not deserve to be up there. I'm sorry, Meryl, but MANAHHATEN? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
HELLLL NO! That movie was SO boring, and slow, and totally pointless. whatta snore. Also not a fan of Meet The Parents, BUT, Meet The Fockers? THAT SHOULD BE NUMERO UNO! LMAO! <3 I love that one. ;D

lol. I'm a Ben Stiller fan, but I didn't find either of the "Meet the ..." films to be neither amazing nor awful.

I think it's a travesty that "Anchorman," "Office Space" and "Young Frankenstein" aren't in the top 50, but "Legally Blonde," "Dodgeball" and "The Incredibles" are! And where's "Road Trip"? That's a silly, outrageous one, but much funnier than some of films on the list that also fall into that category ("Old School," "American Pie," "The Nutty Professor" and, of course, the "Meet the ..." films),
