I am cutting a few people that I feel I have nothing in common with and don't even really know, even though they have been on my list for awhile. My policy I have always kind of gone by is if we haven't bonded with in a few months, then it's time to move on....Please don't be upset or offended, it's nothing personal.

You are far nicer than me. I did a mini cut last week and didn't make an announcement. But then, I only cut one person and she was the newest...but I figured if she had been on my list for 3 weeks and had only posted once to her personal journal but nearly daily to snark communities I wasn't sure I wanted her on my friends list. Especially since she was local.
