Peter took her hand and pulled her up from where she was sat. The Baseballs were playing a cover of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars on the radio and he had a sneaky little grin on his face.
"Come on, you like this kinda music, right?"
Raven laughed a little bit, her hands curling around his as they started to dance. It wasn't coordinated or particularly smooth, but they danced and pulled on each other's hands, laughing the whole time as they swayed. He lifted one of her arms and she twirled into his arms, one of them looping around her waist as the other kept hold of her hand.
They kept dancing and Raven was certain she was head over heels for him, and was almost kicking herself inside until he grinned down at her in that adorable way, and caught her mouth in the quickest kiss, a laugh coming right after as he kept them moving.
Neither of them seemed to care that the dancing wasn't good, they just enjoyed the sway and the lively motion, and she was still reeling from the kiss, a faint hint of blush noticable even through the blue of her skin.
When the song ended, Peter kept her close, still laughing and smiling down at her.
"So, there's a dance at the school, and I need a date."
Raven pursed her lips and gave him a playful look, her hands coming up to loop behind his neck.
"So?"
"Sooo... would you like to. You know. Um..."
She laughed, god he was cute, and she tiptoed up to kiss him again, keeping it this time, a longer and better kiss than the one before.
"That's a yes," she told him, and by the blush on his cheeks, she knew he was just as excited as she was.
