I saw the trailers for it when I went to see Sharkboy And Lavagirl. I am looking forward to seeing my second favourite CS Lewis work turned into big budget movies, but I find it vaguely annoying that they didn't make it look a lot less like the Lord of the Rings movies.

Hi there. Yes, I'm guessing the whole 'Lord of the Rings look' is still pretty much in vogue at the moment hey. I just hope they make a satisfactory effort with what they've got there...

I read a couple of CS Lewis' Narnia books when I was a young 'un, but it was so long ago I can't remember if I liked them. I did get the new Neil Gaiman novel yesterday though. Hooray!

I haven't read the books, I've only seen fragments of the stories in shows I've watched on TV in the past. So I see this upcoming movie as a way of officially introducing myself to the world and its stories. What draws me to it all is this sense of magic and timelessness the whole idea/stories seem to have.., well, that which I know of anyhow.
