It's amazing the things that go through you're head when you are lying alone in the snow at the bottom of a sledding hill, staring up at the sky and breathing cold air scented with melt water and bark for the better part of an hour. There was no breeze, absolutely none, but the black,gossamer, skeletal trees were still moving, almost imperseptively
