You say "pop". Not "soda".

You instantly get points for this. (I am from OH and currently in CO where it's "soda". @_@) I remember you, but not this part. Hee.

Also, I like the way you arrange your writing. Your Ohioan status is not the only thing I noticed. xD

My editor says it's a German language influence thing for Ohio folk to phrase sentences certain ways. LOL

Good luck on the birthing of your book-child! I have several friends in book-gestation periods of their own, and it's always a bit exciting to watch.

I'm still finding it hard to get into ebooks but they seem to be ever rising in popularity.

Am also amused at your description of your renovation upgrade!

You'd be scandalised by my saying "fizzy drinks" likely ;)

Greatest of luck with your book, and with the competition!

Welcome back!

And Midwesterners aren't the only ones who say "pop" instead of soda or whatever. People in Oregon and Washington say that too (I grew up in Oregon).

Linguists, however, seem oblivious to that, as well has to how many different parts of the country say "crawdad" (also the Pac NW). It's not as isolated as some people think!

Good luck with the book, and with gaining a second son. :D
