Ax is here, Jo is gone, Tobias isn't talking much - which isn't new, it's just more obvious because there's nothing to do. Even if he was talking much, it's not like Rachel has a lot of subjects in mind

After he came back from hunting, Tobias decided to look for Rachel. It doesn't take long to figure out where she's likely to be. There hasn't really been anything to fight in a while, and that jerk Dean had cut her off from whatever source of dangerous jobs he had.
She'd have too much nervous energy and a need to burn it off. Tobias hopped up onto the window of the apartment they were using and looked for a building the right size.
There. He perches in a broken window and watches her. Even though she doesn't look like the Rachel he had known, he recognizes her. She still moves the same as always: fluid grace and competence in every movement.
She's not quite at the level she used to be. The sudden jump in age led to changes in her body height and weight, throws off certain movements. So that backflip was a little wobbly and she couldn't quite manage the one-handed hand-stand.
But she's trying. She wasn't professional-grade when she was sixteen either, but she's at least going to get back to the level she was.
Concentration aside, it's hard not to notice when a bird of prey is staring at you. She rolls out and doesn't bother looking over at the windows. A towel for her face and a water bottle are higher priority at first.
He hasn't morphed human again since driving the cars, morphed out as soon as he could. He doesn't speak unless he absolutely has to. Rachel takes his comment purely as a compliment to her gymnastic ability.
What else would it be?
She turns toward him and smiles a little, strained and tired. "What're you up to?"

She can take that however she wanted. He probably means it in more ways than one anyway.
