I thank you all for you input on the ADD matters, you don't know how helpful you've been.

It has been a battle ever since she started preschool, someone always telling me how to do something differently, someone always giving their opinion when I could really give a shit less...there is always someone who thinks they can raise your  kid better then ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're noticing some differences already. Give it time and see how it goes.

And you're right, parenting is never easy. And everyone always has advice. But the thing is every child is unique, so raising one is not like raising another. People seem to forget that.

I really hope it all goes well.

I know I could never understand a parents point of view, being I'm only 22 years old, but I know I would never redo my past as it was.

Yes, I have regrets but who doesn't? All I know is that I am damn proud of my mother with what she has done, I love her in knowing in the whole time, it has only been her raising three children since the passing of my father eleven years ago. I know nothing was never done perfectly, that my mom can be wrong at times but never wants to admit it but simply is my mom. She's like that. Doesn't mean I'll love her less and be bitter in the future.

All that matters is that she tried to do what was best. It's what always matters.

You've tried, you are doing the best to what you can do, and you are hoping, praying, that it helps. If that doesn't show that you love your child and have others gripe at how they could do better, well...those people can shove it.

Much love and support, deary. -hugs-

Just had to tell you that I understand completely about the whole ADD complications. My lil guy was just diagnosed with it too, not the hyper part just the attention. He too was sinking quite fast in school. They put him on Conserta, Im hoping that it helps. Much luck to you and Kaylee.
