Daniel watches in awe as the scenes flash by. He and Duskwing travel and fly for what seems like years to the young boy, though time lost its meaning long before Duskwing had come to the dream. Any despair he may have felt prior has long since been forgotten.
But the wind starts to fade. It loses its crispness, but the change is so subtle that Daniel doesn't notice until his vision begins to fade as well. Things are losing its color and detail. His seeker body flickers out and before he can fall, a small chunk of land materializes under his feet. Duskwing's worlds are fading around them faster now, and soon all is gone, save for him and the ghost. //Duskwing!!// he calls, reaching forward. He feels... he's lying on his back now. When did he lie down?
Daniel stirrs on the bed, groaning softly.
It feels like there's a fog over him, layering upon him and getting thicker every moment. His thoughts are getting hazy, and he can't see the seeker anymore. //I think you'd better leave ( ... )

His eyes flutter open, and he gazes around, not really looking at anything in particular. Finally, he locks onto his dad. He's silent for a moment, but smiles weakly.

Carly leaned forward and ran her hand up and down Daniel's arm comfortingly. "Take it easy, Daniel. You're home how. How do you feel?"
