It's the thought of being put under anesthetic.
I was 6 last time and that image of the mask coming over my face...
but yes you're right

*big hugs* I've had surgery before (tonsils and adenoids removed when I was 8, and then surgery for a broken shoulder 4 years ago) so I know how you feel.
