You're back! I'm glad you had a good time! Now you need to get out of that terrible living arrangement you're in. Because I know living with your parents makes you unhappy, right? Tell me all about the Basic Training. :D

Andrea!!!!!!!!!AHH!!
I missed you so much!
Basic training was really easy, the hardest part was living in bay with 63 other females and only 6 showers. The drama between all of the females was probably the worst part of being down there.
Also, I haven't been able to feel my heels for 2 and 1/2 months and my feet hurt all day everyday. The heat was unbearable, because it's not like they let us roll up our sleves if it got too hot.
I met a lot of really cool people, the males had a lot of respect for me because I did so well so I got along really well with them. Also, my drill sergeants loved me...they called me F-luck (I'm getting the letter "f" and the japanese symbol for "luck" tattooed on my back).
ask me questions about being down there, it's hard for me to go talk about it because so much happened.

So did you decide to go to this yourself, or how did that come about? While you were away I got the japanese symbol for "strength" tattooed on the back of my neck. The symbols looks damn hot. Go for it.
You're strong too. I mean..damn, that must have been a hell of a lot to deal with. Wasn't it nice to come home to a single shower? :D

Yeah, I decided to join myself, last January. It could have been that my recruiter was very persuasive or that i knew that i didn't want to have to worry about paying for college. I say now that it was easy, but while i was doing it, it sucked. There were times when i just wanted to come home, like every morning when they woke us up all I wanted to do was come home. But, I had the 2nd highest PT score in my entire platoon and my Drill Sergeants picked me to go for Soldier of the Cycle out of my whole platton against 3 other soldiers from the company (granted i didn't get it, but that's because the female who won had a study sheet). I've got to look up the symbol for truth, i hope it looks cool.
